A Charming Saturday Evening
Picco Lino's gnocchi, pretty dresses, and pyjamas! Rebecca and I had a little sleepover on Saturday evening, we were charmed by the 1950s, videos of Elvis Presley (Rebecca especially!) and a certain special someone. Now it's time for popcorn and a movie, see you in the morning!

Furry Getaway…
The perfect weekend getaway:
Ski weekend in the Rocky Mountains! On Saturday I hit the slopes, and then retired as a professional ski bunny for the rest of the weekend. Bring on the hot chocolate!
I took some furry photos in honor of a recent ski trip Jasmine and I took. There was no holding us back, we dressed in fur head to toe! Check out Chanel's Fall 2010 Ready-to-Wear collection. I do believe we may have started something….. ;)
Lesson Learned: Trade those stilettos in for some comfy Uggs while walking around downtown Canmore and keep your eyes open to discover all the precious coffee shops and boutiques.
There is just something magical in that mountain air that makes you happy, I will swear on it!

Phabrik Magazine Launch at the AGA
Last weekend we attended the Phabrik Magazine launch for Western Canada Fashion Week. It was held at the Alberta Gallery of Art in downtown Edmonton. The building was magnificent, and was definitely the highlight of the evening. We later went for desserts and drinks at the restaurant Zinc next door. My close friend Rachel also came along with us for the night - I adore her shoes! It was so much fun to dress up together for a night out on the town. - K

Classic Saturday... Just off Whyte
Classic Saturday. Kettle corn, Starbucks, and cute musicians on the street. Whyte avenue was absolutely precious with the beautiful weather! A perfect way to spend the afternoon before the launch at AGA for Edmonton's new magazine: Phabrik. Edmonton weather is so crazy - notice how we are dressed for winter, spring and everything in between. The morning started off with light snow but the afternoon ended up with this gorgeous sunshine! The last shot of Kaila and Rebecca (which I took) was the sweet spot in terms of natural lighting - anyone would look gorgeous in this light! - J
Trenching It... Duchess
Classic Saturday. Jasmine, Rebecca, and I went to a cute new bake shop called Duchess. We had an amazing array of macaroons from rose flavour, to salted caramel. Here are a few street shots from our afternoon downtown, and Rebecca's neighbourhood. -K
